This week starts Lynsey’s school. She’s getting her MBA from MTSU, and only has 1 more year left. (Let’s not talk about how much I have left.)

I’m in class Monday nights. Lynsey is in class Tuesday nights. We’re at church Wednesdays. And I’m in class Thursday nights. Needless to say, we’re going to be protective of Friday and Saturday nights until my Thursday class is over.

School can be stressful. Well, maybe not school itself, but the time school takes up makes everything else stressful. You can’t watch the latest episode of your favorite show because you have reading to do. You have to say no to more people because you have class at night.

But God has been faithful to us. He has been so gracious to provide the money for us to go without taking out any loans. Isn’t that crazy? My wife and I both are in grad school and we’re not going into debt while doing it. I don’t say that to brag, only to say God has been faithful to give us what we need for where He has called us.

God has been faithful to provide money for us, but He has also been faithful to give us strength during this time. I look at my schedule and think, “I honestly have no idea how I’m going to get this done on time.” Yes, we have to be disciplined to get our work done, but when there is too much work to do, or the work seems too difficult, God must intervene and empower us. And He has and does. His Spirit has confirmed in me time and time again that we are where He wants us right now. At church, in our neighborhood, in our jobs, and in our school, He has led us here, and I’m grateful.

I realize I don’t have anything big to say today. I just wanted you guys to know God is faithful. He has been faithful to Lynsey and me.
