Purpose

FWB21 exists to build Free Will Baptist twentysomething leaders.

Sponsored by Randall House, an agency of the National Association of Free Will Baptists, FWB21 will fulfill it’s mission in the following ways:

  1. Collaboration among young Free Will Baptists through this blog.
  2. Encouragement and insight from FWB leaders at an exclusive panel at the annual National Association of Free Will Baptist (NAFWB) Convention.

Core Values

Scripture

We hold to the Scriptures as God’s inerrant, inspired Word. It is without error in it’s original manuscripts, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so a Christian can be completely equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

The Gospel

We are not ashamed of the gospel (good news) of Jesus. It is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).

Missions

Knowing God is not willing that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9), it is the happy privilege and duty of every Christian to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth (Matthew 28:16-20).

Doctrine

The teaching of Scripture and the study of God is to be held in high esteem. For more information on doctrinal distinctives, please see the Free Will Baptist Treatise.

Cultural Discernment

We are called to live in this world, but to hold starkly different principles than those who are not in Christ. For this reason, we want to look at our culture and ask, “What does Scripture say about this?” then, respond in a Christ-honoring way.
